Alison cummins

Alison Cummins (she/her) is a writer and researcher. She earned her MA in Playwriting and Screenwriting from University College Dublin and her BA in Sociology from Muhlenberg College.

Alison is a writer of fiction and nonfiction with a particular interest in stories featuring queerness, romance, and youth. She is the winner of the 2024 Princeton Writes Prize, and her plays have been read and performed at Sapphest NYC, Seattle Pacific University, and The Maker’s Ensemble.

Alison is also the recipient of the Lucille Cafouros Award for Excellence in Sociology and was awarded highest honors in sociology for her thesis about cultural production/reproduction through fanfiction.
